Łukasz Konieczny in the quarterly Wyroby Medyczne 3/2026 (39)

Łukasz Konieczny, a Medpipe expert and member of Technical Committee No 284 of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN), has published the article “Instalacja gazów medycznych jako zestawienie wyrobów. Gdzie kończy się zakres certyfikatu na system rurociągowy?” (A medical gas installation as an assembly of devices. Where does the scope of a pipeline system certificate end?) in issue No 3/2026 (39) of the quarterly “Wyroby Medyczne”. The text explains why a notified body certificate for a pipeline system does not cover the gas supply sources, which elements of an installation are separate medical devices and in which class, and why gas produced in a hospital is subject to pharmacy supervision.
